Privacy Notice

Last updated: 17 May 2026

1. Who we are

My Training Split is operated by My Training Split. My Training Split is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice and decides how and why that data is processed.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, login credentials.
  • Workout data: the splits you choose, exercises, weights, reps, and session history you log.
  • Support messages: the content of any messages you send us.
  • Usage and device data: pages visited, actions taken, device identifiers, browser type, IP address, and similar telemetry.
  • Payment-related identifiers: a reference to your order returned by Paddle (we do not store card numbers or full payment details).

3. Why we use your data and our legal basis

  • Provide the Service (create your account, give you access to plans, store your workout history) — performance of our contract with you.
  • Customer support — performance of our contract and our legitimate interest in helping users.
  • Security and fraud prevention — our legitimate interest in keeping the Service safe and our legal obligations.
  • Product improvement and analytics — our legitimate interest in understanding how the Service is used and making it better.
  • Marketing communications (only if you opt in) — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Legal compliance (accounting, tax, responding to lawful requests) — compliance with our legal obligations.

4. Who we share data with

  • Service providers / subprocessors — hosting, database, email, and analytics providers that process data on our behalf under appropriate contractual protections.
  • Paddle — our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles the sale of our product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, invoicing, and refund requests. Paddle processes your data as a separate controller in line with Paddle's privacy notice.
  • Professional advisers — accountants and lawyers, where strictly necessary.
  • Authorities — when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

Some of our service providers may process data outside your country, including outside the UK/EEA. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions to protect your data.

6. How long we keep data

We keep your account and workout data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to handle support, security, and legal obligations. Payment and tax records are kept for the period required by applicable law. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • request correction of inaccurate data;
  • request deletion of your data;
  • restrict or object to certain processing;
  • request a copy of your data in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

We aim to respond within one month. To exercise any of these rights, contact us via the contact channel on this website.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular review of our security practices. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to reduce risk.

9. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to operate the Service (for example, to keep you logged in). If we add analytics or marketing cookies, we will request your consent and provide controls to manage your preferences.

10. Changes

We may update this notice from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the latest revision.

11. Contact

For any privacy question, contact My Training Split via the contact channel on this website.
